1. What We Collect
When you sign up for TrainSMS, we collect information you provide directly:
- Phone number — to deliver your workout texts and verify your account.
- Name and basic profile — age, height, weight, fitness goals, and health notes you share during onboarding.
- Workout history — data generated from your training program, including exercises completed, session feedback, and progress responses.
- Payment information — handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe may retain certain data per their own privacy policy.
2. How We Use It
We use your information to:
- Generate and deliver personalized fitness programs via SMS.
- Send you workout reminders and check-in messages at the times you choose.
- Process subscription payments through Stripe.
- Improve our service and tailor future programs to your progress.
We do not sell your data to third parties or advertisers.
3. Third-Party Services We Use
- Twilio — SMS delivery platform. Your phone number and message content are processed by Twilio to route texts to your carrier.
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles all card data. Their privacy policy applies to payment information.
- AI (Claude / Anthropic) — your profile and fitness data are used to generate personalized workout programs through AI. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for the duration of your active subscription. If you cancel:
- Your account data remains for 30 days in case you reactivate.
- After 30 days of inactivity, your data is permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion.
- SMS delivery records are retained per Twilio's standard data practices.
5. Your Rights
SMS Opt-Out: Reply STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or HELP to any text to opt out of messages at any time. Opt-out is processed immediately.
You have the right to:
- Request data deletion — email us at hello@trainsms.polsia.app with "Delete my data" in the subject line.
- Access your data — request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Withdraw SMS consent — at any time by replying STOP to any message.
6. CCPA / State Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar laws in other states.
