Fitness & Health Disclaimer

Your health and safety matter. Please read this page carefully before using TrainSMS.

1. Not Professional Advice

TrainSMS is not a licensed personal trainer, physician, physical therapist, or registered dietitian. The workouts and nutrition suggestions generated by TrainSMS are produced by an AI model. They are not individualized clinical recommendations and should not be treated as such.

2. Consult Your Physician First

Before starting any new exercise or nutrition program — including one delivered by TrainSMS — you should consult your doctor or a qualified medical professional. This is especially important if:

  • You have any pre-existing medical conditions (heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, etc.).
  • You have a history of injury, surgery, or joint problems.
  • You are currently pregnant, recently postpartum, or breastfeeding.
  • You are taking prescription medications that affect your ability to exercise safely.
  • You have been advised by a medical professional to avoid physical activity.

3. Stop If Something Feels Wrong

Stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if you experience:

  • Pain, tightness, or sharp discomfort in your chest, neck, arm, or jaw.
  • Dizziness, faintness, or shortness of breath that doesn't resolve with rest.
  • Pain in joints, muscles, or bones that feels like more than normal muscle fatigue.
  • Any other unusual symptoms during or after exercise.

When in doubt, stop. Rest and recover. Check with your doctor before continuing.

4. Nutrition Guidance

TrainSMS may provide general nutrition nudges and check-in prompts based on the information you share. This is general informational guidance only — it is not medical nutrition therapy from a registered dietitian (RD or RDN). If you have specific dietary medical needs, consult a qualified nutritionist or your physician.

5. Results Vary

Every person's body responds differently to exercise and nutrition changes. Age, training history, sleep quality, stress levels, genetics, and many other factors influence outcomes. TrainSMS does not guarantee weight loss, muscle gain, improved fitness, or any other specific result. Your progress depends on you — consistency, effort, and how your body responds.

6. You Assume the Risk

By using TrainSMS, you acknowledge that:

  • Physical exercise carries inherent risk of injury, including the risk of serious injury.
  • You are solely responsible for monitoring your body during workouts and adjusting or stopping exercises as needed.
  • You assume all risk for any injury, illness, or other harm resulting from following (or not following) the workouts and nutrition guidance provided by TrainSMS.

7. This Disclaimer Applies to All Users

This disclaimer is a part of TrainSMS's Terms of Service and applies to every user of the service, regardless of fitness level, health status, or the nature of their subscription. It cannot be waived or modified.
